The Kursk eparchy
The saint spring at the place of appearance of the miracle-working icon of the Holy Mother of God “Znamenie”, called Korennaya, is in the Birth of the Holy Mother of God Kursk hermitage. This icon is brought from the Znamensky cathedral in the center of Kursk to the Korennaya Hermitage with Religious procession every year.
The miracle-working icon of St. Nicolas is brought with Religious procession from the church of St. George the Triumphant to the church in Utyatskoe village where it appeared in 1749.
