Korennaya Hermitage Future

The Future of Korennaya Hermitage

The future is up to God. Holy Orthodox Christains please Pray for Korennaya (Kursk Root) Hermitage. This site is a Holy historic site of all Orthodox Christains. It is also a great blessing to the millions of Orthodox Christains that are living close to this Holy Orthodox Site and that can utillize the Holy Springs and monastery site on a daily or monthly or yearly. To most other Orthodox Christains this might only be a once in the life time blessed opportunity to visit.

With God's grace and love the Korennaya Hermitage is slowly being repaired and updated.

Kursk Root Icon RolloverThe future is looking good for the Korennaya Hermitage. The Kursk Root Icon Procession is growing in numbers and support each year. The monastery is growing and repairs are being made as money comes in. It is a difficult endever to maintain love to all and still have time and money for repairs.

After 15 years of the monastery's reopening much has been done but so much more will be done in the comming years. The Bell Tower Archway will soon be getting the needed painting repairs. It takes time and patience to repair all of this Holy Monastery because of the 70+ years of communist neglect and the struggle the Russian people have endurred setting up a free market system. Also the Kursk Region Government dose not help with needed repairs like other Russian regional districts do so they lag behind in catching up with the repairs to the Korennaya Hermitage.

With God's will and many prayers all will be done with God's approval.

With the prayers of millions of Orthodox Christains in the Kursk Region and around the world the Kursk Root Icon will return to its original home roots. It is God's will that will be done and this Holy Christain Icon will return to this Holy Orthodox Roots!

Prayer for Orthodox Unity

O All Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit: We Thy faithful children beseech Thee to forgive us the sin of divisiveness, which is rooted in our hearts, our dioceses and land. Implant in our lives the holy vine of unity which only Thou canst bestow on those who have come together in Thy name. Enlighten us with Thy grace so that we may come to the knowledge of Thy truth and move our hearts to respond with trust and total obedience to Thy divine will. Through the intercessions of the God-inspired Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council at Nicaea, who in harmony decreed that there should be but one hierarch in each city serving Thy faithful as a loving father over his children, one shepherd over a united flock, we also praise Thine all holy name, O Father who is without beginning, O Son who is eternal and O Holy Spirit, the life-creator, illuminate the way and guide us all to once again unite Thy Holy Church. Amen.
